About Mr. Steve
Mr. Steve Golden has been around music all his life. Singing in trios and quartets in his formative years, and playing a variety of instruments including guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, and many other stringed instruments, while in the last twenty years, assisting with and performing audio production for performances, both live and recorded.
Mr. Steve’s many years of experience with stringed instruments have been instructive in understanding and developing an ear for setting temperament between vibrating strings for optimal sound quality. At some point, Mr. Steve realized he could apply these concepts to piano tuning as well.
Mr. Steve tunes using high-tech methods along with his natural ear for sound. These technologies have been developed and refined over the last several years and now provide a more precise foundation for tuning a piano and are optimized when combined with a trained ear.
